First it was Luna, now yesterday I put my beautiful Lily down. However; for her it was planned. I retired her in June. She was 19 and her arthritis was getting worse. I didn't have the heart to put her thru a cold winter. It was getting very hard and expensive to keep the weight on her. I will blog about it in my yahoo 360 and myspace page which I dedicated to her. I loved this horse so much I was literally sick from head to toe yesterday. I felt like I had the flu symptoms. I'm starting to tear up so I'll close for now.

Messy. soooo sorry about Lilly. I am glad we had today to spend together with Annie.... Lilly is crossing Rainbow Bridge, and I hope she nods her horsey head to my Emerald, Zircon and Koshi.

I am so very sorry to hear of your family's loss of another dear friend. There is no pain quite like that of being heartsick at the loss of a loved one. Please, all of you who are now saddened by yet another loss, treat yourselves kindly and gently and remember that Luna is joyful to be with her old friend...
God Bless.

I'm sorry beautiful_mess, it hurts to lose someone who has been a loyal friend/family member for so long. May she rest in peace and no longer be in pain. And may your pain lessen and all that remain be happy memories of times you had with Lily.
