Yup, definatly addictive. I knew way more words than I thought I would. it was fun too.

Just how many are 2,620 grains of rice?

I was super surprised - I looked for a lot of word origin (ie., latin) when I didn't know one - and went with my gut first reactions.

But HEY I was (a really square) 8 year old who LOVED to dive into Readers' Digest at my Grandparents house! For "Laughter is the Best Medicine", articles and their Vocabular quizzes!

Oh my gosh, that's funny, I used to read my grandparents Readers Digest too, and I loved "laughter is the best medicine!"

KK- your post could have been my own...all of it! I had started reading my children's stories back to my Mom before I was 3 yrs. old. She had thought I had just memorized them so she bought me some new books and I shocked her by reading them to her. By 8, I was a full blown RD addict and my Grandparent's just happened to subscribe!! And, now....I subscribe!!
