Agreed!! Not only with the person answering the questions but the time to verify takes way way too long as well. It is beyond the air of suspense they had hoped to achieve.

*Cat*--You'd most likely not enjoy this show! It feeds our inherent 'gawker' gene but offers nothing of substance! LOL

I couldn't wait for it to come on and they picked a not so good sucker to be in there. I also think they take way to long to answer it true or false... but the questions haven't gotten that far yet. I bet when they get in the higher price the questions are more personal and interesting... will wait to see if it gets better.....I hope so....

We recorded it and watched it this morning during breakfast. The premise is interesting, but I agree that the response times are ridiculously long! So annoying! I may watch again, but if the response times are not shortened, I'm done.

I do seem to remember a TV commercial advertising this show, but I hadn't been paying attention. Thanks for the link. BGW. You are right; I don't think I would like that show at all. People reveal their dirty laundry, but who cares? They are just strangers, and even if they were friends, I would not enjoy seeing them demean themselves like that.
Sorta reminds me of shows like Maury Povich, where the two basic questions deal with lie detector and paternity tests. On his show, the outcomes of all those questions really only matter to the guests on stage. I may be odd (OK, yes I AM odd), but I don't give a rat's -ss about the dramatic exclamations of, "Joe (Larry, Harry or who-all), you are NOT the father!" It's hard to believe television shows have sunk that low.
I am probably just being much too critical and not appreciating the entertainment value of the modern "reality" shows. If people enjoy them, fine. I was in Reno over Christmas time and my son was playing a Deal or No Deal slot machine. I didn't understand what was going on, so he said, "Mom, it's just like the TV show!" I told him I had never seen Deal or No Deal and I am pretty sure I heard a sigh of exasperation under the sound of the slot's electronic cacophony. So who am I to judge anything!
