It's not the sort of thing we encurage on these particular forums, you can run your forum how you like, but I for one wont be joining it.
I'm curious as to why you are looking for people from Oakhurst to join your forum in and about the area in Philly.

Maybe because he thinks this is Oakhurst, NJ?

Ouch kind of harsh on the folks from NJ YJ. Maybe all the KKK members from Philly already joined and nobody told him the FBI closed down the training camp in Mariposa.

Doesn't surprise me a bit (the website responses). People from that area are/were pretty prejudiced - at least from my experience many years ago. I was always hopeful it wasn't as bad as it was when I lived there. That is one of the main reasons I moved to Calif. Ah, such a relief to move to and be living in this state! But, MadScot had to bring up Mariposa. Shattered my illusion LOL!!

Are you out there?

lol, ok, first let me say that I really LOVE this forum here:)
You guys are some of the coolest people I have ever met online.
Second, I do NOT SELL MEAT lol.
I am a Philadelphia Police Officer out of the 15th. I really want to change my name here but don't know how.
Third, at one point my forum was a Philly area forum. The few people at that time who posted on it, really had nothing to say about philly. after talking online with these people, I went and changed it.
Fourth, My forum is called "RELAXXX". If you look at the rules, you will see that I really don't have any. People say and post whatever they want, as long as it is not X rated. The XXX is ment in a soft core kinda way. You all know that at work you surf the net. Guys love a good place to go that is WORK SAFE.
Last, I did not post that link so people would join ( though you are all welcome to ). I posted the link so people would click and help out my search engine ratings.
Now about Obama. I hate him. I think he is bad for America. The man can't even put his hand on his heart for this country. If that doesn't want to make you vomit, then go ahead and vote for him.

What makes you believe he cannot "put his hand on his heart for this country"? Is that worse than a soldier that went AWOL? Why does not participating in childish ceremonies make him bad for this country? Bush puts his hand on his heart, but he also went AWOL while in the military. They used to kill people for that.... but then they used to kill people just for having dark skin.... oops.. those people that do put their hand on their heart for this country to that. Bush lied to he American people. He lied to his employers. Over a million people have died because of his lies. Bush ruined our economy. And you actually think a much smarter, much BETTER, person will be bad for America?

No, I hate Bush I think he should be impeached. I think Clinton is the best choice.
Obama not putting his hand on his heart just shows how he really feels and thinks.
It doesn't matter really because if he wins the ticket, then McCain will be our next President. I don't like McCain, but at lest he won't turn this country over to Bin Laden. And yes I really think that. Lots of people do, and that is why McCain will win. Also, middle America will NEVER vote for a black guy.
Talken about race, this is a funny thing I am finding with white voters. It is almost like they are saying
"I am voting for Obama to show the world I am not a racist".
Tell ya what. Give me 5 issues Obama says he stands for. Tell me why you like him so much. In return I will tell you about Clinton, and why I feel she is a better choice.

To me that's a good thing... but I really doubt he is stupid enough to do as you claim in public. Got any reliable, honest, references to support your claim?

This election scares the sh*t out of me. I don't like Obama, I don't like the way Clinton answers questions. typical Clinton talks around the question. I do think McCain is going to win this election. Because people are afraid of both Obama and Clinton.
I know Iraq isn't a good war. (my husband is there) However; if we pull troops out, that sets up for another country to take it over. It's a catch 22.
This is a very important election. I don't think we have any good candidates. Like I said above I think McCain will win this race because he's the "safe" choice.

Wish the old pledge thread was still here. The pledge was written to sell flags. It was written by a minister who was thrown out of the church for his socialist views including his sermon Jesus the socialist. Originally it was said not with the hand over the heart but raised in a fashion similar to the Nazi salute. The original didn't include the under god part that was added during the McCarthy witch hunts. I remember back when the Olympic runner was ostracized for forgetting to remove his hat during the flag ceremony. I was appalled by the treatment of this kid who had dedicated so much of his life to represent his country. It's not like Obama was mooning the flag he was standing in a respectful manner. I think that argument is very petty.
I'm not a big fan of either Hillary or Obama they were my least favorite of all the Democrats. Even if Obama were a Muslim which he's not doesn't mean he would be turning the country over to Bin Laden. That's just as absurd as the Republican claims that JFK was going to take orders from the Vatican after he was elected. Saying that Bin Laden is representative of all Muslims is paramount to saying Jim Jones or David Koresh represented the Christian world as a whole. If McCain was a Democrat the smear machine would be putting out emails saying he was brainwashed by the communists when he was a POW and would be turning the country over to communist China. Then again we've just about done that anyway with our trade policies.
I was going to vote for Edwards on Tuesday I will be voting for Obama for a couple reasons. He didn't vote for the use of force against Iraq. If Hillary couldn't see Bush salivating at the prospect of attacking Iraq I do not feel her judgment is as good as Obama. I also believe we need to talk with our enemies. I don't believe we should set conditions that they must capitulate to our demands before we even talk. Were we to do that McCain might not even be in this race he might still be in a hole in Vietnam. The Korean war could still be in full swing. Even those who expounded the will not talk to our enemies/terrorists didn't abide by that. Remember Iran-Contra not only did we talk to our enemy but we did back door arms deals with them. Some of the rhetoric I hear from Hillary is straight out of the Republican playbook.
I couldn't care less what the color of Obama's skin is other than the fear that some KKK nut will kill him.

My bet is that John "100 Year-War" McCain will NOT win. Even if I were a republican I would believe that in my heart of hearts. Come on, the country is largely against the war, and McCain sounds like the same lip service we have heard for four years.
If Obama-Clinton or Clinton-Obama get the ticket, watch out, America will vote for them in droves. Including college-aged kids. They love Obama btw, and so do I.

I'm not afraid of any of the Democrats. It's the Republicans that are the problem. Just think of 4 more years of Bush and more tax breaks for the super wealthy that donate millions to Republican causes. The even bigger problem is that the Republicans will finish packing the Supreme Court and then you can watch the few rights you have left go flying out the window.
I know Iraq isn't a good war. (my husband is there) However; if we pull troops out, that sets up for another country to take it over. It's a catch 22.
Not if the pull out is done right and even if someone else takes over the country - so what? It's not our country. It's not our oil..... oh... that's the problem; someone else will take over the country and start selling the oil which means the price of oil will drop and the oil companies will no longer be able to make record braking profits while the country suffers.
This is a very important election. I don't think we have any good candidates. Like I said above I think McCain will win this race because he's the "safe" choice.

I wouldn"t vote for McCain if you put a gun to my head. I had enough of him when I lived in Arizona. I can't get the picture of him hugging Bush out of my mind. I think your going to be seeing a lot of that picture before this is over. How he could act like that after being swift boated by Bush. It speaks volumes as to his character.
I would rather see someone else as VP just for the fact that it's one less Senate seat we will have to win. I don't think the polls mean much of anything if you compare the turnout in the primaries it's obvious the Democrats are favored. The bookies have it as 1 to 2 for the dems and 8 to 5 for the repubs. I expect the odds on the dems to go even further down maybe as much as 1 to 5. Wish I had got in when the dems were 3 to 2.

ok, I don't know about you guys, but I am sick of this topic.
This is the last time I am going to post about this. It's just getting old to me.
The YOUTUBE that was posted shows him with his hand on his heart. True. Why do you think there are so many OTHER YOUTUBES with him NOT? Maybe it is because someone on his staff said "put your hand on your heart, after your president it doesn't matter".
This really is knocking me on the floor laughing. It really does remind me of Bush supporters. To a Bush supporter, he can do no wrong even when the wrong is right in front of them.:eek:rolleyes:rolleyes:

This doesn't really make any sense especially since the date on the Senate video preceeds the Nation Anthem one.
As for comparing me to a Bush supporter you've caused me a great deal of pain. You see it really does hurt when I laugh. I already stated I was not an Obama fan, just think he's the best of what's left. There are some of his positions I don't agree with. Given the choice of Hillary who I see as a dividing force who I believe will inspire a larger Republican turnout and Obama my choice is easy. If I did not consider this election so important I would likely vote for a 3rd party candidate I've been a registered Independent most of my life. I believe democracy has a fatal flaw in that those who seek to be in power are not the ones who should posses it. I personally think you might be a freeper troll who like David suggested in the Coulter post is supporting Clinton because that's who you want to face in the GE. I could be wrong wouldn't be the first time but that's how you come off to me.

I wasn’t going to comment on this, but here goes. I just watched the “National Anthem” video clip. You know, the one where Obama doesn’t have his hand over his heart (Oh My, how individualistic and nonconforming!). What was he thinking? Oh wait…what’s that I see? Yes…yes…why I do believe I see that alleged unpatriotic gentleman singing to the National Anthem. Maybe it’s just my fuzzy screen, but it looks to me like, at the very end, he’s singing right along.
Gee, I don’t see anyone else singing along. I hope they all remember the words, like Obama did. Me personally, I don’t put my hand over my heart either when I hear the National Anthem. I don’t always stand up either. But you know what? I always sing along. I take my patriotism that personally. Maybe he does too.
Don’t judge any candidate by a limited and often biased amount of media exposure you may choose to subject yourself too. Learn as much as you can about what each one stands for, then vote for the one you think will be the least likely to be dissuaded from their promises by lobbyists, power, money and personal interest. That’s about the best we can do. And hopefully the best candidate out of the sorry lot will win. (Just so ya know, this last statement is my attempt at humor!)

Well this e-mail certainly convinces me. I have to admit it after hoping it wasn't true. Karl Rove is alive & well! He is probably posting this crap from his slimey, stinking bunker. This e-mail is being very widely & ardently spread. Some friends have gotten several differant versions. This is exactly the same rotten tactics that Rove did against Kerry & even McCain. When McCain ran against W, the republicans used push polls to spread the rumor that McCain was a traitor, that his wife was a drug addict and they had a black baby born out of wedlock. Only the last part was true, since they had adopted an orphaned African baby! Rove & the republicans have no shame and yet they claim to represent the Christians.
As to Obama not clutching his heart; he has answered this twice in interviews I have seen. He says he does so for the pledge of alligance but not for the national anthem. One is just a patriotic song and the other is a pledge to this country (Not to the government). The same thing with not wearing a flag pin all the time like some people do. He says he wears one sometimes but doesn't want it to just become an accessory that you put on to impress people.
Finally, you have to be a real meathead to believe that someone running for President of the US is a secret, Muslim terrorist! Did you ever hear of the FBI & CIA? They investigate these people, legally & illegally. Enough said.
