I thought he looked pretty young in the pic but I don't know him.

Newcomer said he was the man who did the landscaping at Innana's Gallery - we had called him to ask him to help us with our landscape. But he had advised us he couldn't right then because he was fighting Cancer.

I hope I'm not speaking out of turn if we are mistaking the wrong man/name. We never met him in person, but had his name and number from the lady at Innana's.

I'm Sheldon's sister, Sherri Hackney, I want you to know how much your comments mean to me. I live out of state and was so touched. I logged on to check things out in Oakhurst, I do miss this area, and saw that he really was known and missed. He was my little brother and very special to many people. I couldn't wait to show his wife Lucinda the posts. In Love & Peace,
The Hackney Family

Hi Sherri!
I'm so sorry for your loss..I want you to know that He did AWESOME landscaping work and made oakhurst a better place by the beauty of his work. I remember one time he asked me.."Arent you the one with the holly hocks in your front yard ?". He always noticed the beauty of his surroundings...He must be rejoicing in heaven where Flowers are Gods way of smiling...

Sheldon was a special person. He always had a nice smile for everyone and he had a kind heart. I remember he "poodled" my Manzanita at the entrance to my walkway as a surprise once when his friend Danny used to rent my little house.
I was shocked to learn of his passing. He will be missed. Love to his family and friends.
