Local Food Drive *Senior Project*

My daughter is doing a food drive for her Senior project.

She is collecting food and donations that will go directly to Manna House for local distribution.

Right now you can drop off "Non-Perishable" food at Pak & Page and you can also make monetary donations in the donation jar there, soon I will have a list of more locations for drop offs.

If you have a business in town and would be willing to let her put in a drop box or donation jar, Please let us know as we are getting the boxes next week.

I've been told there is a high demand for peanut butter & Jelly and for canned Tuna.

I have a box of canned food for her. How long will she be collecting?

I Believe it will be for a month, today is only day one. You can drop it off here or even at my house if you want, since that where I will be storing it until we bring it all over to Manna House.

After Talking with Krystal, She is going to keep the boxes out until May 1st.

Right now there is a box at Pak & Page and a box at Yosemite High school.

She is making up more boxes to put out and I will post where those are when she's finished.

So far, its going great! We have lots of donations of food and money to take to Manna House, she is holding on to it, to present it to them all at once the first week of May.

It's so exciting to see how generous people are when it comes to helping our little community.

Just an update, The food drive is going well.

There is just a little bit of time left. The boxes will only be out until May 1st.

There is a box at Pak & Page, a box at the front office at Yosemite High School, there are donation canisters at Pak & Page and Cook bean cafe.

I'm told that Manna House is in need of Tuna and Peanut butter. Please drop off your donations at one of the places mentioned above.

I wanted to say a BIG thank you to everyone who participated in this food drive.

Krystal collected/received 300 POUNDS of food and $150.00 to go directly to Manna House. We'll be bringing it over on Thursday at lunch.
