I wanted to share a cool site with everyone. In an ongoing quest to save $$$ and get rid of my Dish satellite service and still have television when desired, in addition to Hulu, I have discovered a site called Veohtv (http://www.veoh.com/). The installation of this software can be a bit more "hands-on" than Hulu's, but has additional/different channels than Hulu and has more help available. I have ordered a s-vid cable to run the video and audio from my laptop to my bigscreen (we'll see how that goes). Enjoy! (I solved my playback issues with Hulu by upgrading my DSL speed, and now it "smokes".)

Also, I was wondering if anyone might have any info regarding the ability to receive HD channels over air via an antenna?
Thanks!

Another source of video content is the Adobe Media Player, http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/mediaplayer/

The content isn't "TV programs" per se, but there is some interesting stuff and more to come.

My hubby connected the s-vid cable, and we can now watch Hulu and Veoh on our bigscreen from our laptops (many programs to choose from and the infrequent commercials are 15 seconds long). We ordered an antenna this am and will try that for local channels (will still need a tuner and maybe an amplifier...) We just may get rid of Dish and save some $$$$ yet!
