I lost my cat "Midnight" on Monday March 24th near the high school ag dept. He escaped out the backdoor. He is a black domestic-shorthair and may be wearing a blue collar.

I hope you find him soon ! Have you thought about speaking to the school? about perhaps maybe asking the students if they have seen him?
Just a thought

We live on road 426 and there has been a gorgeous black cat hanging out at our place. Very clean, does not look like a stray. It looks like your photo. But, it does not have a collar on and does not respond to the name Midnight. Won't come to us - we can't catch it. It is here at the house now, Sunday 12 PM-ish. Feel free to call us at 642-6434 if you want to come by and see if it is yours.

Thank you very much for keeping an eye out and posting this didjstore. My husband and I were able to look at the photo and its not our cat (actually it looks like one of the abandonded westwood cats). The face is too skinny as well as a few other details. I actually talked to my mother right after I saw your posting and they found my cat, they just have to catch him. He has been hanging out with 2 other strays, still has his collar on, is getting food, he also answered to his name and as far as my mother and sister could tell he is healthy and unharmed. So if anybody has any suggestions on catching him it would be helpful. We think he might be mad because we are getting ready to move (we are taking our cats with us).

So glad you found him !!!
You can rent humane/safe ! cat traps from the SPCA and maybe even our local vets or feed stores here in the mountains? Not exactly sure where they have them, but they do have them.
Good luck in your move ! and yes Kitties can be very upset by a move :( Just acclimate him right ~

Did your cat have a special game or treat? My cats will come running if I shake their treats or the Catnip container. They also love chasing a laser light. Hope to hear you caught your cat soon.:)

Just so everyone knows Midnight has been found and is at home with my sister and Mum. They are taking care of him until we get back up there.
