Karaoke DJ/Equipment Needed

The Mat for Honorary Mayor campaign is seeking a karaoke DJ and/or equipment to facilitate an upcoming karaoke fund raising event for the Boys & Girls Club. This will take place on Sunday nights in May at The Oak Room. We have a special game planned for this event and karaoke equipment is needed. Thanks for the info. I am hoping to find a person that does this professionally that would be willing to donate his/her services on Sunday nights in May. Of course, it would be a tax deductible donation to the extent of the law and would also help him/her get more exposure for his/her business. Who knows... if it becomes very popular, The Oak Room may consider doing it all summer long. Of course, I can't speak for the owners of the Oak Room.

Let me tell you a bit about the game we are going to play... everyone that is in the bar must participate. You donate $1 to pick the song and the person that is going to sing it. That person can then up the bid to $2 to choose a new song or singer if he/she doesn't want to sing the song chosen for him/her. If a new singer is chosen, that person can then up the bid to $3 if he/she doesn't want to sing the song. It ends up being a pretty fun game where people sing songs you would never expect them to sing. People laugh, sing and have a great time... all while raising money for this worthy cause. We call it Krapaoke. :lol:

Who knows, someone may surprise themselves and pull off a song they never expected they could do. This way you don't see the same people singing the same songs they sing every time they do karaoke.
