all I said was no dogs allowed on national park or monument trails ..I think national forest is ok for dogs.

there are plenty of places to hike with your dogs in the high country.And you can not take them into the park.The forrest is ok though.are you taking that weiner dog hiking?

I can see why Dogs are not allowed in national parks, because they might bark at the wild animals......and some editet! people do not pick up after their dogs....when i come up there another time and i bring him with me, i can take him on the lake, and walk on some trails near the roads....that would be good....and take him swimming with me, he has a life jacket http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/rolleyes2.gif

Well i bought my self a 4by4 Chevy 2004 truck Blazer.....man do i Love it, now i can go camping or what ever and i well not get stuck.someday day i,ll get a boat to pull also, Me and My Dog, we go for LOOOOONG drives* I have to get me some camping stuff now http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/eusa_dance.gif

I think his short legs will equal short hikes.We have a Bull Terrier and she has short legs.She is done after a few miles.
