Where to sell art?

I'm wondering if anyone knows where people can sell expensive art?

I don't think it would do good on Ebay or craigslist...but then again, I dont' know...any advice will be gladly taken.

You can check with the local galleries and see if they will take it on consignment. Otherwise, I'd check with Sotheby's in San Francisco if it's really good stuff.

I would check with a local gallery for advice or if they would want to. Maybe contact an art professor at a local college for advice?
