I recently had lunch at the Casa Vallarta and thought the food was exceptionally good. It was truly authentic Mexican comfort food.

It's always been a favorite. Although I did have one bad experience a few months ago. I bit into my burrito and it tasted like barf. Apparently the sour cream was bad. I took it back and they made me a new one without sour cream. He was very apologetic. No problems since. But now I always ask for the Sour Cream on the side... just in case.

Where is Casa Villarta?

On the left just before you go over the bridge if you are going south from Oakhurst. White building, used to be Lucy's Mexican food. I think the sign outside says Mexican Kitchen. Food is fantastic and good service too. Has anyone had what is pictured on the front of the menu? Enough for 2 to share for lunch. Very good!!!!!
