Clueless II: The drunkening

Thanks for the screenshots. I doubt the movie will be any good but they were quite funny.

From the trailers on TV, it looked like a comedy. But Oliver Stone was on Larry King's show today, and I guess it's supposed to be serious. The show should repeat tonight at midnight if anybody wants to watch it. But how can a show about Bush being anything BUT a comedy?????

Notice it comes out a few weeks before the election. Do you think it will have any impact on the election?

I thought Fahrenheit 911 would have affected the 2004 election but Bush won anyway. So I wouldn't count on it. It may not be necessary. I think McCain and the moose hunter are going to lose all by themselves, without any help. Just let them keep talking.....

Most people have their minds made up before the candidates are even announced. The conservatives will continue to support these unbelievably ignorant politicians the Republican Party keeps throwing at us. You would think they learned from Bush, but they didn't. They'll still vote for McCain even though he shares all of the same policies as Bush and picked a poor choice for his running mate. IMHO. But yes, I do think more democrats will end up at the voting booths simply because we can not afford to stay in the direction we are heading. It's time for change. It's time for a real change.

This should make people happy. I was watching CNN today and they reported on new voter registrations. There are about twice as many Democrats registering as new voters as Republicans. We just need to hope they all go out and vote now that they're registered.

No, no, no! How can it be anything but a horror movie?

I am going to go out for the title of "Miss Naive 2008" and say that I wish there weren't ANY political parties even though I know that'll never happen. I don't like having to register for any certain box. I did register as an Independent, but talk about naive.....at the time, I thought that meant I was "independent" from belonging to any party! I just vote across party lines and I have no loyalty whatsoever to one or the other.

Hi Mysterioso......Don't worry about Santa not leaving you a pony --- I have had several of them over the years and they are mostly good for testing one's patience!

I saw the film tonight. Meh, it wasn't good. It was long, skipped around a lot, and made me frustrated to re-live the Iraq invasion. I tried to like it. I really did. Stone did a good job of making me feel sorry for George HW.
