Conveniently recycle your old electronic devices for FREE and help Rivergold students raise money for fieldtrips. Rivergold's Eco-Activism class is teaming up with Mr. Doug Balbas, owner of Yosemite Recycling, to help local residents get rid of our old electronics just in time for the digital change over and Christmas, while raising money for fieldtrips at the same time. So, clean out your houses and garages in the good green way, and support a worthy cause at the same time. Simply drop off your items at Rivergold Elementary School Monday through Friday October 27-November 7 from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm in the upper parking lot. Or bring these itema to Oakhurst Computers Mon - Fri 10am - 6pm for the entire month of October and we'll make sure it gets to Rivergold! Here are some examples of what you can bring.

Please bring items like:

TV's, speakers, toasters, blenders, household appliances, ceiling fans, microwave ovens, hand held electronics, old electric cords, stereos, video players, e-waste, old radios, electronic toys, broken calculators, etc.

Large Appliances:

Mr Balbas will arrange for pick up large appliances like washers and refrigerators directly from your home if you leave your contact information with the Rivergold office. The service will be provided free of charge. Please don't bring huge appliances to the school.

If Rivergold is too far of a drive, drop these items off at Oakhurst Computers and we will deliver them to Rivergold! Help us help the kids.
