Of course men can cry. Really, it's an odd question.

Men are taught from boyhood up to "be a man" etc.. this sort of chauvanistic crap is what is wrong with a lot of men. Men cry, of course they do. It is okay to cry.

99.999% of men can... There are a couple of physical and psychological afflictions that can prevent it.
Should a man cry? Yes, when it's appropriate...
There are only three instances, ranked by importance:
#1 When his dog dies...
#2 When the TV breaks...
#3 Death of a close family member, or their dog.

Nice topic...My wife gets mad at me because I don't cry. I did get choked up once in '98, though. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/happy.gif I'll say this for men and crying: Typically, boys are given plenty of negative associations with crying from pretty early on, and it seeems to me that it's pretty common for guys to be raised to be strong and look at situations from an emotionless standpoint. Once it becomes habit, I guess it becomes accepted as the way it should be.
I do think it's gotta be a bad thing if there's no alternative outlet for stress. I'd guess a common outlet for women is crying, and for men, it's hitting stuff. LOL http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/laugh.gif

Crying does release alot of tension. A good sob is equal to a good massage. Crying has a very therapeutic purpose.
