wanted: windows 98 disk(i got a disk that works)

my good comp had a crash and i nead to download windows 98 i lost my disk to mine and i nead to barrow a windows 98 disk and the code called product key on the side of the comp if some one has one let me know and i will send a posted paid self adressd envlope

cant ya upgrade to windows xp? id avoid Windows 2000 or winME. My windows 98 is LONG GONE or else id give ya my disk.

Avoid Windows 2000! No way. Windows 2000 is still the best OS by Microsoft IMHO. I use win2k unless the hardware on a machine absolutely prevents it.

I've got XP on my PC, that I hardly ever use. I have 2000 on my laptop, which I constantly use. XP is more convienent for some things, such as wireless connections, and establishing them. But 2000 is solid, and works just fine.

ya the e-bay one did not work right it looked like someone used sander on the disk
