How many people have tried or use Skype? What do you think of it and what are the pro's and con's of using it?
I see where you can download the software to use it for free, but thats all I know about it.........:p

I have it and use it I like it alot it is alot like YM or some of the others but seems to work alittle better

Free if you talk Skype to Skype equipment and phone numbers.

Connection is good, have to purchase Skype phone and then you can go between landline and Skype line on the Skype phone.

But you can talk person to person and webcam also for free with skype

I have Skype because I play an on-line game with players in other countries and sometimes my allies and I like to talk real time instead of just using email. I paid a small fee for unlimited US calls and if my friends in other countries want to talk, they can call me.

I was using Qwest for my long distance and although I don't really call long distance all that often, my monthly bill was as much as a 1 year unlimited US calls that Skype offers. So, I just canceled Qwest and with the money I saved also got an incoming Skype phone number.

So far, I am a happy Skyper. :) << See my happy face!

I have Skype, too. Got it to talk to my kids when they live far away. I never got beyond downloading the free software and also got free minutes. I recommend it.

Thanks everyone :yes:...So far everyone seems pleased with it? as I dont see anyone who wasnt happy with it, posting, so I will look into it further now!
