My husband and I decided that instead of giving gifts to each other for Christmas we want to help out a family in need this holiday season. We live in Fresno but plan on staying at my parents house for the holiday season. We're wanting to help out a family in Oakhurst that doesnt have much. We're wanting to bring a meal Christmas Eve and possibly gifts for the children (if the family has any). The only problem is we dont know how to go about finding a family??? Any ideas or suggestions would be grealy appreciated. Thank you!

You and your husband are very special people.

There is a thread on here called Christmas for kids, where we're buying the kids gifts. There is a list of ages and gender.

Re; Christmas dinner send dodgergirl a private message. I'm sure she will know of some family whom might need the dinner.

Merry Christmas to you and your family.

I tried looking for the thread you were speaking of. No luck! Can you tell me where to find it?

Also, I sent a message to dodgergirl. Thank you for the recommendation!!

You could probably call any one of the local churches and find a family.
Thank you. You and your husband rock.
