Oakhurst Dollar Store

I shopped the dollar store in Oakhurst and was wondering what others think of this store. Do you shop the Dollar Store in Oakhurst? If so, what is your opinion? Are the prices fair? Do they have good customer service? I'm wondering how much people really spend in this store. I spent about $50.

The dollar store here in Oakhurst is no longer a Dollar Store, it is a dollar and up. When it first opened it was a dollar store. If you want to go to a REAL DOLLAR store there are a couple good ones in Fresburg....

I LOVE the ones down in Fresno! And I really liked our local one when they first opened...... ~

I havent shopped our local one for quite sometime now though~

We go every now and then when the girls want to spend their allowance, but I cringe because their toy stuff is so cheap - doesn't last maybe a day or two.

I used to love our local dollar store and shopped there a lot. Now the prices have gone up so much that you can get lots of the things they have cheaper other places in town. I was wondering if they have changed owners. It used to be owned by a really nice couple, the wife spoke with an accent, German, maybe. They were in there all the time, were very nice and would also tell you when they were getting a new shipment in and what kind of things would be in it. I never see them any more.

Same here, my two oldest kids want to go there every week and waste their money on junk toys. With all the lead problems, I no longer let them. They may not stick those toys in their mouths, but they have three younger brothers who might.
