Sears compliment

Overall, I tend to dislike the national Sears store and "brand". Most of my prior experiences with the store in other cities have been somewhat negative. This weekend I needed to request an unusual transaction (the details of which must remain undisclosed) with the Oakhurst Sears store. Honestly, I did not expect success.

After speaking with the owner of the store, not only were they able to accommodate my request but they did so with remarkable goodwill. I can't say enough positive things about the Oakhurst Sears customer service this weekend.

I shop alot at Sears. They will match any price you can find in the valley. We have purchased all of our flat screen TVs for the NGI there.

The owners, Dwan and Ron, from the Sears Oakhurst have been most generous with local organizations with fundraising, wether providing a huge discount on items of purchase or simply handing out something for free.

Sears own brand products seem to last forever. We had a fridge that was over 25 years old and still going. And I've got some of their tools that I bought back in 1972. But believe it or not, I have some Sears player piano rolls that are over 100 years old...and still good.
I'm glad they are in Oakhurst...

I have to agree with all the kudos for Ron, Dwan and the Sears staff. They deserve all the wonderful success they are enjoying. And thanks to them for all their "giving back" to the community which we all love.
