Censuring vs Impeachment

How many of you know the difference? How many of you care?

No, I don't want Bush censured. I want him impeached. I want him indicted on criminal charges and the Democrats of the Senate to vote to impeach him.

Then I want him to resign, before he starts another war. Why do you think they are bombing "out the insurgents" now in Iraq?

I want him impeached too, YJ, but I have to say this: Fiengold is the ONLY Democrat in our government with any balls at all.

Yes, I know it was a doomed move. Doomed from the beginning. Because the House Democrats are ineffective and cowardly.

They are cowering from a Republican president that is at the lowest ever in his popularity. Most Republicans don't agree with what he is doing with the domestic spying. They have said countless times that his spying policy is illegal and unconstitutional. Granted, they want to make it legal, but they admitted that Bush broke the law. The polls that have asked the questions have come back overwhelmingly against the legality of the domestic spying program.

And only one senator was willing to stand up and censure him. I know, I know....censure is less than a slap on the wrist. But it involves starting a processs. One that involves Senate testimony, UNDER OATH. The Republicans are scared poopless that they will have to go on record, under oath that they support the illegal spying program. The Nation is fed up with the lying scum in this administration, and the polls are refecting that. And the Senate democrats lack the balls to stand up and take a fight to the Whitehouse.

Aw, hell, they get the same pay as the Republican senators, and because they are the minority party, no one really expects them to do jack squat.

Except the voters of this nation.

So, Senator Fiengold, Thank you for trying.

Please voters of America... vote for Democrats for the Senate. If you are Liberatarian, Green, Centrist.. whatever.. the Democrats need to retake the Senate. We need a miracle. Then we need to Impeach Bush.

It's like Bush is staggering the only thing holding him up is the ropes and the Democrats don't even want to come out the corner for the 12th round.

I can't begin to express how disappointed I am in the Democrats over the last few years. I am fairly confident they will take back the Senate by default but I think the House is a longshot. I think a few others besides Fiengold have been vocal but overall I agree with Coldwolf.
