Does anyone know the name of this Meadow?

I don't know the name of this meadow - do you? I'd love to know the name...

Its south of Globe Rock off Beasore Road (a turn off gravel road -maybe a mile or so off Beasore Road-632 down a well-kept gravel road -coming down Beasore Road from Globe Rock its a left-hand turn onto the gravel road - You pass one meadow on the left first, then keep going down the road and this meadow is on the right)... I can't remember if it was North or South of Beasore Meadows/Jones Store - but it wasn't far from there.

it's right past Jones store I believe,, last summer we were up there one evening & I think we saw some Buffalo in the field. Have pictures somewhere...

I have no idea the name of it at all... I don't think Jackass Meadow because from all the maps that's more along the Mammath Pools Road side... not Beasore Road side of the Scenic Byway.

I'm hoping some of you longtime-locals will know!

Just looked it up on the Net and saw pix of Jackass Meadow - I don't think so- it did not have any wood boardwalks and no Jackasses wandering around.

One more note that may help identify it. After you turn onto this road it comes to a very narrow small bridge with cement sides about 3 feet tall. It's about 500 yards from the beginning of the road. A car can barley make it through without hitting its sides. The bridge is over a small meadow creek then it continues on and slowly climbs up the hill overlooking the meadow on the right.

Jones meadow is right near Jones Store...could it be?

I have no idea - it wasn't right next to the store - I think south of the store, on a side gravel road up about 2 miles...

I'll have to take a trek back there and see if I can figure it out - and/or ask someone at Jones Store - I'm sure they would know!

According to the forest map it's called Mugler's Meadow.

Could it be Grizzly Meadow? That's about 4 miles from Jones store on forest service Rd.6S01, (also called Grizzly Meadow Road http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/laugh.gif)

Can't tell which meadow is which - but the GPS sites show it just may be Mugglers Meadow... of Grizzly...

hmmmm - Newcomer might just get a GPS for Christmas so we can tell where we are! (Aren't those the best gifts - the ones you buy for others that are really for yourself?!)
