Probably near Tuscon or Phoenix. My Grandfather retired from the Goodyear company after 25 years. He and my Grandmother lived in Phoenix for years...

Until the Killer Bees's came anyway...

The last 3 times I have ordered from the Pizza Factory the dough has been completely raw in the middle. If I wanted pizza that sucked this much, I'd just make it myself! Garlic Chicken Gourmet from Round Table is the bomb, Pizza Factory doesn't even come close!

Personally, I would not eat at the Pizza Factory in Oakhurst if it were free. It is BAD and I always seem to get sick. I prefer Round Table anyday.

Mmmm...creamy garlic sauce.

"Yeah, it -is- just ranch, but it's on pizza!"

When you order Garlic Sauce with your pizza out here, you get a tiny tub of smelly butter.

*sigh*

I miss creamy garlic sauce on a nice pan crust.

I like Pizza Factory in North Fork...it's still like the Original Danny's Pizza was when it first opened....both pizza places in Oakhurst are good,(depending on which pizza one orders) but Pizza Factory is not as good as it used to be overall.
I also think it is rude to call people idiots on here for stating their opinion.

well i'm not going to get into this calling names thing,
But without a doubt Pizza Factory is the best pizza in town..
I've tried Round Table just because they are close to my work on my lunch hour and it's just not the same...

Pizza factory in Mariposa is so much better than PF in Oakhurst, and they're open on sundays...go figure.

The Pizza Factory in Oakhurst is awful. This is my opinion. Actually, I buy frozen pizzas from the Schwans driver and they are EVERY bit as good as what you get at either place mentioned in this poll.

Hi Stan,

I have to agree, I'm not to keen on Pizza Factory, awhile back I did have a good pizza I think it was garlic and something, but the last few times were terrible...so I vote Round table.

Just my opinion

I would have to agree on the Pizza Factory (in Oakhurst) being a blow it. I ordered a pizza in person last week, it was suppossed to be half pepperoni and half extra cheese. I made the mistake of not looking at it before I drove home. It was covered in pepperoni and there was extra cheese but it was all over and it took a lot of work getting off the pepperoni that I or my girls will not eat. In their defense I called them immediately about it and they offered me a free pizza. This time it was correct. But my absolute favorite pizza or any other food would definietly be from the Schwans truck. I by as much food from them as possible as they always have a-one quality and service. We get our frozen pancakes, OJ, Meals kits and of course their ice cream is better than anyones. They are the only ice cream that doesn't add water. It's the BEST! The hardest part is deciding on which flavors to buy and how much room you have left in the freezer.

Gold Mine Pizza in Coarsegold has great Pizza, Great Homemade crust, Sauce, and killer pepparoni. I just moved here a month ago and find it to be one of the better Pizza's. I still love Round table though.... http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/grin2.gif

As far as Pizza goes, I find Round Table pizza to be a safe bet, although they are not perfect either... Just recently we got a pizza missing one of the toppings we requested...

I think it is safe to say no one is perfect....I have had mistakes and lousy pizza from Round Table.....and no problems with Pizza Factory....but that doesn't mean Round Table is bad...It most likely depends mostly on the help they have working on the day you order and/or how busy they are. This is true of most all eating establishments. I do know the owner of Pizza Factory takes great pride in his place and strives to make it right. But the owner isn't there 24/7.
As I said...this is true of most places....
Often if a business knows of your dissatisfaction it will try to make it right...and most locally owned businesses solicit and welcome comments and suggestions for improvement. I think it is important to remember one's statements often affect the business referred to,and keep in mind that if you owned the business, you might want the opportunity to make your customers happy http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/pleased.gif

Whatever you do, Enjoy it!! http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/grin2.gif

Soooo true Mtnbreeze....soo true...

Nobody's perfect, and some times its hard to find good help...

But do they have Microbrew Beer http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/tongue2.gif when I go out I look for a good brew with my pizza, but when I order for home delivery pizza I change between Pizza Factory, and Round Table, and at home I always have a big selection of Microbrews to pick from. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/grin2.gif

Imagine that... a pizza place closed on Sunday during football season! It seams like they would get the most business on this day. Very odd. http://oakhurstforums.com/icon/huh.gif
