Ive noticed that juggling dancing gigs between Stone River band and Chris Plays Guitar is gonna be tough in this coming year. BUT CPG is playing at The Pines on 14 Jan 06 (yes i know SRB is at the oak room then... ).... so Is anyone hip to dancing to some original off the wall rock/blues/jazz with interesting lyrics on the 14th? I mean come on... we dont get CPG up to the hills much so lets go out and support them!!!!!!

(Oak Room on the 13th for SRB if you can handle two nights.......)

For all of you w/ a weight loss New Year's resolution -- Dancing (the fast songs) does qualify as an aerobic work out!!!

yeah.. we will leave the Pines at 8:33.... one minute before the band removes their pants (they get drunk at 832 and remove pants at 834.... therefore we leave at 833. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/rofl5.gif

don't fear the boxers...

so it turns out it's a holiday weekend... and who waited until the last second to try and get reservations at the pines??? yah, me... if anyone has a floor they won't mind having some semi-homeless musician inhabiting for an evening, let me know...

also, SRB friday night, CPG saturday night, then you've got two days to recover... how could you have a better weekend???

psssssssssssssssssssst...

i'm driving home tomorrow so that we can have a rehearsal and not suck completely saturday night... everyone and their mother are planning on going to this gig, right??? (especially if your mother is hot like chris's mom)

the band is letting me sing as many as TWO songs these days!!! you have to come out and rock like a peice of granite if you want to find out what drunkenly lullaby i will be crooning you all with... and if you decide a cigarette break is in order when i take the mic, that's okay too... it just means that i won't be letting you put your hands in my pockets when i'm dancing in your lap...

should i bake something for the occassion...?
