Does anyone here raise poultry? If so do you show, or use them for eggs, etc.?

I have 3 hens (Silkie & 2 Ameracaunas), plus an Amherst pheasant hen plus a bunch of Gambel's quail. Coco.... the Silkie gives me about 5 tasty eggs a week. The Ameracaunas should start laying in Feb-Mar time frame (they will lay light blue eggs)

im gonna be moving in a few weeks, and I have 3 chickens that I need to find a good home for. 2 are rhode Islands and 1 black sex-link. They are great chickens, they do lay eggs. But we have them mostly as pets. Good home only please! Thanks

*Cat tries to hold off being such a brat, but caves in to impulse and says that the last sex link she noticed was in her hotmail junk mailbox*

We'd be interested in the chickens, if you still have them. We have 4 silkies and several other larger chickens. All of them were given to us so not all of them are tame. We do have one red hen who is a great pet. Her name is Sassy. They have a very large yard they share with the horse and all seem to be very happy. Most are too old to lay any more, so it would be nice to have laying hens again. http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/happy.gif
