Keith does have a point. There is a huge difference between Yuppie Bikers and Old School Bikers. And, I do mean HUGE! I have been going on 'Poker Runs' longer than I have known how to walk, and have managed to learn a thing or two along the way.

If I had my say...I would only let you date Yuppie Bikers. You are too sweet and trusting to hangout with the Old School Bikers. Standard rule of thumb when it comes to the Old School Boys...unless you are in good standing with their Mother, don't loan them money, your car, or let them sleep on your couch http://oakhurstonline.com/icon/laugh.gif

I know that Guys in Bands and Biker Dudes have that certain 'bad-boy' appeal that woman love, and there is also the excitement of being a little bad your self, but....they are called 'bad-boys' because they are, and don't even expect them top change.

My best advice, and this true of any man, don't let them talk you into doing anything your insticts or beliefs tell you is wrong. As long as you always stay completely honest to your self and your beliefs, you will be fine!

B and Keith both give good advice from experience I see...but instinct tells me Linda has been trying too long and too hard to put her self-peg in holes it was never meant to fit and she has had nothing but frustration trying to conform to them enough to be comfortable. Who knows...maybe she's been a biker chick underneath alllllllll along???????

It is possible she has been suppressing an inner biker chick for years, which is why I suggested she go for the Yuppie "Harley Owner Group" Biker and not the Old School Biker...as I am sure you were not wishing the possibility of an illegal lifestyle on anyone. No, I am not saying all old school bikers are into illegal activity...just going with what I know.

I don't know if its "old school" or "new yuppie" or what but all of the bikers I know at this point are Harley "old farts" (yes, they even refer to themselves as such) or young well to do young adults riding Harleys with all the bells and whistles. Are there ANY real "bikers" left? And what exactly is a "real biker" - is it like a Hell's Angel or what? I am amazed at the popularity of the "Orange County Chopper" dudes. Heck, they even have a clothing line. Enlighten me on "biker dudes"!

Last I heard my sisterinlaw is doing real good. She got tired of the big computer and gave it to one of her daughters. She is still at the same job and goes out dancing with her girlfriends on Friday nights. I think she has had a couple different boyfriends and not sure if she is dating right now or not. She was suppose to get a laptop but not sure. I will get in touch with her and let her know you all said hello and that she is missed.
