I go to Oakhurst Feed & Supply for dog and cat food. It is much less expensive to buy in bulk at the feed store compared to Supermarket prices. Also, the customer service is great! The staff at Oakhurst Feed & Supply are always willing to answer questions and assist you with heavy items to your car.

I also purchase fish for my fish tank there. The selection is good and the fish are healthy. They get a Great rating from me!

Thanks for the info Mat, I didn't know anyone sold fish up here, and it's really hard on them having to bring them up from the valley. Now maybe I can get my fish tank going again!

I'm on Hillview's system and don't want myself or my pets to glow in the dark. I use bottled water for myself and the pets for consumption and drinking. But thanks for the thought!

I'm always amazed at how they remember me and my wife by name?!?

Its great when a business' employees get to know you by site. I feel you get better service than usual because they recognize you are a returning customer and there becomes a sort of "bond" over time.

I went in today and was really really impressed. The ladies who helped us were so knowledgable and helpful. Ok, plus they gushed over my dog and made me a proud mama.

I have nothing but good things to say about Oakhurst Feed. They've always been very helpful and seem to know everything about the needs of all kinds of pets. Including frogs.

I love Oakhurst Feed. They have great food there for my dog, and were very kind and helpful with info when he had a hotspot. They are great, and even carry Baby Bjorn stuff that I love to buy for my little human babies.

I like them a lot. The times I had pets and went in there, they've always be extremely helpful and I never had to stand around waiting for someone to help me. When my son's dog was so sick with stomach problems and couldn't hold down regular food (or it came out the other end frequently, LOL), Oakhurst Feed sent me home with about 10 different samples of food to try on her to see what she COULD eat and not get sick on. They took a lot of time with me on that one and we found a food that didn't upset her tummy, thanks to them. I'd recommend them to anyone.

I really like using them too ~ anything I have gone in and looked for that they didnt have, they look up and let me know if they can get it for me etc !

I've had dealings with all the feed supply stores in the area; Mariposa Feed, Boot Jack Feed, Oakhurst Feed, and Coarse Gold Feed. The store in Boot Jack is the only one I will not do business with because of a bad attitude on their end. The other 3 are all great people that do their best to take care of their customers and I have a hard time choosing which one to use.

Sometimes I go there to buy feed for my horses and I have to get them to cut the bales in half and retie them just so I can drag them back to my horses (wheelbarrows won't go that route). I have had several different guys help me with this over the last year and every single one of them has been kind and helpful. Not every feed store will take time out to do that- my business goes to Oakhurst Feed.
