I just stayed at the Westin in Santa Clara a few weeks ago, they DO have great beds http://oakhurstforums.com/icon/yes.gif. But, I did'nt much like the pillows, Usually I bring my own, but didn't this time.

We've stayed at the Narrow Gauge and had a lovely time.

When will you be re-opening the restaurant this year?

Serta no turn Pillow top...like sleeping on a cloud...yum

If you visit San Francisco, stay at the Donnatello in Union Square...they have the best mattresses...and customer service...like home away from home.

Sorry, I just saw this post. We opened last Wednesday, April 27th. We serve dinner from 5:30pm and are closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Reservations are highly suggested as we are quite busy! Thanks for asking!

I like that perfect mix of firmness but soft enough to contour. Theres a hotel in Pismo called the Sea Venture ... best beds ever!

Personally, that new rock hard mattress would have been better with the pillowtop. The best mattresses I have seen are in the Clubhouse @the Handlery Hotel in SF. They remind me of a firm mattress underneath with the european feather bed on top and they are wonderful. Dodie

Last week we got delivery of Sealy mattresses. They are not too soft, not too firm, so hopefully our guests will get a good night's sleep. I also bought over 80 new pillows, you should have seen me driving down the street with them in my car. I felt like a giant marshmallow!

So what will you be doing with the old mattresses????

If you have a queen to sacrifice I will be happy to take it off your hands.

Sorry, they went to my employees that needed them and the rest I donated. I wish I'd known, I'd have given you one.
