Is it true Will Ferrell is coming to NASCAR?
Yes, and the world may never be the same! We are thrilled to be working with Sony to develop a movie with Will Ferrell as a NASCAR driver. Believe it or not, the original pitch was just six words: "Will Ferrell as a NASCAR driver." That alone drove spirited bidding for the project. We'll use the Herbie blueprint in working with Sony on developing the film which will be both laugh out loud funny and totally authentic within NASCAR.
