One thing you might keep in mind is that the Buckhorn Saloon usually hosts an archery competition in North Fork. I believe they're shooting for (no pun intended) Sept 30'th this year at the North Fork Recreation Center.

You might run into a few folks with similar interests at that event.

Oh - and also, they usually give away a nice bow to either the winner or a raffle winner (I don't recall for sure which it is).
