Also would be interested in a poll where folks could pick what their political leanings where ie far left far right or somewhere inbetween . I think I know the ansewer for folks that visit here lol PS I think I met you when u ran for mayor
Hey Mat, Happy 2010! I'm hoping that we can get together sometime soon talk about the website and have you look at my computers again. I'm free Friday, how about you?
Hello Sandman. I found you because you're an administrator. My home is in North Fork and I have not logged on the forum very often. I think it might be disabled for some use due to the fact I am not on much. Would it be possible to enable it if it is not? Thank you.
Mike says it was my problem that he could not log on earlier in the week, but the truth is, he forgot and then remembered his password.
You are right, he now has access, since he remembered his log-in, but don't tell him I told you...
We will be back in Oakhurst late on Monday, November 2, and be there through Sunday. We are going to see my Grandma next weekend and that always means we will swing by the "Taste of Monterrey" and pick up a case of good wine.
We should try to hang out if you are around. Hey, have you ever been to the Mariposa Brewery? I wanted to know if they are still open since we will drive by them on our way to Oakhurst on our next trip...(we will be in Sacramento for a Halloween Party) This year Mike is actually wearing a costume - "a Handsome Devil" and I will be a "Devil Temptress", should be fun.
Got to go finish my Chicken Soup - We watched football most of the day - the Viking's game was killer!
Thinks there should be no more lip service to dns and his/her antics...it only fuels them....jmo....just remove the posts w/o a word from anyone or something....to continue to make comments about them and their posts is rediculous.....this is a suggestion because just because they don't agree with most doesn't mean they shouldn't post..but to continue to post multiple threads is only their baby way of getting attention....anyway....like I said..a suggestion
Sandman - I am very concerned with how you expected this forum to be run.
To make it short, I think your moderator Only1aplphafemale is taking her control a little too far.
I posted an event - Because of the nature met with opposition and the opposer posted another thread about what we really are about - Then another event (local this time) - completely seperate but since we have similar values construed as the same (group).
Your moderator in the same post that she says she was posting as a member tells us our group needs to post one reminder for our events.
I'm sorry we posted two seperate events on two seperate threads, and it's two seperate people.
I didn't even know there was a local tea party here in Oakhurst.
Then she had the bones to PM me about posting my forum link and leave it at that, because she gets a lot of opposers complaining about my thread.
Are you kidding me? She wants me not to post my views on here because she gets complaints about them, and I have complained about some people name calling but she chosses to only say that she's getting complaints on my thread, not that we are complaining about the other posters as well?
Therefore I should leave and only post my forum link.
I'm sorry I need to know if you're letting your moderators censor your forums cause they get complaints about forum topics?
As I said to her, when I don't like a forum topic, then I will make sure to post another thread about it and it will be considered spam right?
I'm really concerned that this once great and open forum is being run really biasedly.
Please tell me you don't normally allow this, and this kind of moderating will be fixed.
If not I'm fine with it, I just need to know for my future posting?
What I need to know from you, is this how you have your moderator's moderating?
I was born in Southern California and first moved to Oakhurst in 1988.
